Book Review: Rebel Angels (Libba Bray)

by Mandi I.

Libba Bray’s first novel, A Great and Terrible Beauty topped the New York Times best seller list, and now she returns with a second book, Rebel Angels. Gemma, Ann, Felicity, and Pippa all return in this book. After Gemma smashed the runes in the first book, she destroyed the order of the realms, now Circe is out to get her and get the power for herself.

The girls face trouble in this reality too. Gemma and Ann face dating and love. Gemma faces her father’s addictions. Ann sees what its like to be rich. Felicity confronts her past with her father.

Rebel Angels continues the story and is a great addition to the first novel and worth reading if you read the first book.
