Book Review: The Eyes of the Dragon (Stephen King)

by Liesl P.

The Eyes of the Dragon is your usual medieval fantasy book with your usual sorcerers and kings. that's where the similarities end. This book is about a young prince who was falsely accused of murdering his father, the king. This ingenious plot moves quickly through Peter's--the young prince's--life as he cleverly dodges the evil magician's deception. I think this is a very good book if you are a fan of fantasy. Unlike some of Stephen King's other books, The Eyes of the Dragon is not a scary or haunting book, but more of an easy read. As far as to how quickly this book is to read, I'd say the plot is very easy to follow and it is a pretty quick read until the end of the book where it gets wordy as Stephen King is drawing the book to a close. Personally though, I thought this was a pretty good book. Hope you enjoy it!
