Book Review: Now You See It by Vivian Vande Velde

by Kelsie

Wendy thinks she has the misfortune of wearing glasses the rest of her life. She is as blind as a bat without them. She went to the eye doctor to get her eyes checked and when she got back to her house, she finds a really weird pair of sunglass/glasses lying on her front lawn. She thought it wouldn't hurt to try them on, so she puts them on, and magically they fit her prescription--exactly. From then on, she begins to see things in a whole new light. Literally.

Everything that Wend has ever gone through could not beat this weird happening. Two kids in her class look different than they normally do, and they are trying to get hold of Wendy's new pair of glasses.

This book is a great book and is written by an author who has written other various books including...

Wizard at Work, Witch's Wishes, Magic can be Murder, Dragon's Bait, and Curses, Inc. and other Stories just to name a few. It is a wonderful book filled with mystery, and of course, wacky eyesight.
